Task 1b

Location Photography

Location photography varies and can be photos of anything from Lifestyle, People at work, Schools/Colleges and industrial areas. Location Photography is a lot harder than studio photography you have to rely on the lighting, weather, time of day and the equipment you will need for the shoot you’re planning on doing. The time of day is very important as this will affect the lighting of your image, and you need to be prepared for any sudden changes in the lighting or weather. The weather can have a big effect on a shoot. For instance if you are wanting gloomy weather for a shoot it is likely that it will rain, if this is the case you will need clothing changes protection for the equipment and models if you’re using any. For outdoor photography you will need equipment such as a tripod, flash light, camera and spare batteries etc. There is a lot of difference in studio photography as everything is already equipped for you to use in there unlike location photography where you need to make sure you have everything. Location photography is very good for big shoots as you have a variety of space also.
