Francesco Tonelli

Francesco was born in Italy his style of photography being food is because Francesco has a deep love and passion towards food. He was a former professional chef before he discovered his love for photography. He worked for La Cucina Italiana in Milan where he went on to style hundreds of dishes for them over the period of eight years.

I think Francesco’s images of foods are very beautiful his images are really inspiring. I like the ways he photographs. I really enjoyed his project ‘1 + 2 =3’. It was a really good idea and very interesting. I found the images he had done against different surfaces very inspiring. For his ‘1+2=3’ he took images of a plain dish then the ingredients that would be added then the final dish.
