William Henry Fox Talbot
Fox developed the three primary elements of photography, developing, fixing and printing and accidently found out a lot about darkroom work and how we used it today. Fox was born on 11 February 1800 in Melbury, Dorset.
The image on
the right is the only image Fox created on food. This image is very basic
fruits we would see today but fruits such as the pineapple would have been very
rare back then. I find the image interesting but his work on this particular
image doesn't interest me. I however think this is because of the images being
produced for food photography today is very interesting and fun and we have
many cultures and many different beautiful looking fruits, vegetables, cakes
and much more now to influence and help photographers to create such beautiful
imagery.
