Evaluation

Evaluation.
For this project I chose to photograph fruit as it is easy to get hold of and really elegant to photograph. I really enjoyed this project, at first I didn’t think I would of had any interest in food photography but I have found out through the project that I very interested by food photography and have found a love for it. I enjoyed the fact I had my idea from the very start and knew exactly what I was going to be doing as I was very keen to get started. My favourite task was making posters with my images. I didn’t really enjoy the shoots of the sweets we did at college as I wouldn’t particularly choose to photograph things like that. But it was good for experience. If I did thing project again I would try doing another shoot like my first but using exotic fruits that you don’t see every day. I would have also liked to have completed another shoot based more around the cutlery and crockery as I did a lot of research into them I however didn’t find the time to do a second shoot which I am disappointed about. For my shoot I used different angles such as bird’s eye view, worm’s eye and eye level. I shot very central images again as this is my preferred technique I seem to use a lot when I do a shoot. I had a lot of inspiration for my shoot from Pinterest mainly. I think this website is a wonderful site to find photographers on which aren’t as well known. I found Linda Lomelino on Pinterest and she is my favourite food photographer i have found and I have taken a lot of inspiration from a lot of her work. In the future I will look forward to doing food photography again.
