Repetition
I scanned my black and white negs onto the computre. In the darkroom my negatives where too over exposed to use. The image of the chess piece is the only image I got that i could work with in the dark room but the bigger the image got i realised it was blurry. I put the image into photoshop I sharpened it and manipulated it and cast different colours over the image and put them all together to create a piece of repetition to get the look of Pop Art.
I enjoyed doing this piece of work as i felt that i hadn't completely wasted my time and i got something out of my black and white negatives.

Favourite image on background
I like this image as I didn't set it up. I thought it would make a good image and I am really pleased I chose to shoot this. The image is, four photographs in one although the photo is busy I think the main focus is the two rounded bulbs in the middle, As a photographer I like to shoot clean images which focus on one specific item, but I think somehow this image has come across clean and I think the blue sheet breaks up the image and adds a slight bit of colour.
I have cropped the image slightly and changed the brightness down slightly.

Edited image and non edited
This is one of my favourite images I think I like this image because it focuses on the head of the light bulb it is very central and a clean shot and is a simple image doesn't have anything around it to distract you from the main focus. The first image is the edited one I changed the colour balance of it to make it more white and less green/blue. However now the I have edited it I think that I prefer the bottom image which is untouched I think it makes the bulb look more interesting. But i do think the first image is the 'perfect' version of this image.

Task 2a Favourite Image - Not edited
This is my favourite image I shot for the light bulb shoot (Task 2a). I like the image of the two light bulbs facing each other i like how it has captured the detail in both of the bulbs. I shot this image on the light box with a white background behind it. I think all the images I shot on the light box look a lot better than any other background I shot on. The image looks clean and sharp which I am very pleased about again I shot it central which is my favourtie angle as I like things to be the main focus. The only thing i am not happy about with this image is that the card i used for the background had a plastic sleeve on it which has caused the light to reflect off, of it which has left a line across the top of the image but i will probably try edit this out on photoshop.
Task 2a Creative Glass Photography - Contact Sheets
These are my contact prints for both of the 2a tasks. I prefered the images not using a background as i like images to look cleaner. I also dont like having a distraction from the main focus when shooting something like a light bulb.
